Boost North is a pre-accelerator program for future entrepreneurs to create cross-sectoral cooperation. It’s the perfect training ground for anyone be it a growing entrepreneur, NGO representative, student or a startup enthusiast with an idea and ambition to make it happen.

The program has two separate tracks: 1) idea/pre-MVP stage; 2) MVP/first customer stage.

Idea/pre-MVP stage is for very early teams with just an idea. Teams in this stage participate in online and onsite workshops and receive mentoring to help them develop their ideas into MVP.

MVP/first customer stage is for more mature teams with MVP in place that are ready to reach their first customers. Besides workshops teams participate in one-on-one mentoring sessions and get extra help with reaching out to their potential customers.

Boost North program is running by Startup Wise Guys and OBJEKT multimedia future hub project financed from the European Regional Development Fund and the EAS. Project number EU51523 “Promoting cross-sectoral and cross-industry cooperation through the development of visual media” has received funds of 219 744,00 EUR.

Project’s goal:

  • to support the search and implementation of visual media innovation;
  • to increase the competence of the respective specialists;
  • to facilitate the involvement and entrepreneurship of students and young people;
  • thereby positively influence the Estonian business ecosystem.

As a result of the project:

  • the use of visual media opportunities of the creative industries is increased in internal and external development;
  • general awareness of using visual media in different sectors is increased;
  • there is sustainable cooperation between visual multimedia and different sectors (education, industry, etc.);
