Last summer we announced our partnership with CDP Venture Capital, the venture arm of Italian investment bank CDP (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti) to run a CyberXcelerator, a cybersecurity accelerator program run in Cosenza, Italy. And today, we are happy to share that we are already launching the second, truly international batch with seven promising startups with founders of nine different nationalities.
Each startup will be accelerated via a hybrid, five-month program that will mix in-person and remote weeks. Participating startups will each receive a ticket for 78K EUR as cash and program investments. There will be additional opportunities for follow-on investments.
Additionally, we are excited to continue the collaboration with experienced players of the Italian ecosystem as our program partners – The NTT DATA research center, the University of Calabria, Leonardo, a globally leading aerospace, defense, and security company, as well as Italgas, a leading Italian gas distribution company.
Meet the seven promising cyber startup teams from Cyber Xcelerator 2022
Butterfly Decisions (Italy) – a company specializing in hi-tech solutions to manage decision-making processes.
CyLock (Italy) – Your virtual ethical hacker.
Edison Marks (US) – We use behavioral science to make small businesses more secure.
Ethiack (Portugal) – Autonomous ethical hacking for tech teams, combining hackers and AI.
Ofofo, Inc (India) – A Cybersecurity marketplace to improve Cyber resilience for Small and Medium businesses.
Sagenso (Poland) – Implementation and maintenance of an effective data security management process to provide peace of mind to medium and large businesses.
Security Forge (Italy) – B2B SaaS solution for secure and sovereign data sharing in manufacturing environments.

We are happy to have selected a very international batch representing not only Italy, where the batch takes place, but also countries like the US and India. And only after a few weeks into the program, we are already seeing a lot of good synergies and collaboration happening between the founders.
This is the fifth Cyber program and the second Cyber Xcelerator program we will be running. We have already invested in more than 30 cyber startups.
