Strategy
We are the first to invest in the strongest B2B founders from overlooked markets and speed up their growth through our flagship accelerator program. We combine the strength of our brand and network with the reach of our Scouting and General Partners’ team ensuring that the best founders in the region want to work with us. Our vertical focus allows us to find the best founders seeking relevant network and expertise and separating us from other generalist programs and investors.
Challenger II fund co-invests in startups together with our other fund vehicles focusing on particular geography or vertical.
We invest
We select on average 100.000€ ticket per startup and we invest in 8-10 startups per accelerator cohort . we invest up to cumulative 500.000 € in subsecuence follow-on rounds.
We plan to make up to 20 direct deals outside the accelerator. Notable previous direct investments include Bolt, Katana, Planet42, Jeff App .

Why overlooked markets
Think excellent talent in overlooked markets, troubled by past, current economic and political challenges. Most of these people are highly motivated and hungry for success and change! For many – building a company is the only way to change the “status quo”. Being one of the oldest European accelerators and for years one of the few active early-stage investors in certain geographies, we have network and brand recognition in such overlooked markets allowing us to find these “diamonds in the rough”.
