Founded in 2019 at Porsche’s Open Innovation Hackathon, DriveX was born out of a vision to streamline vehicle pre-inspections and transform the auto insurance market. By utilizing AI-powered vehicle inspection software, DriveX is tackling one of the most common issues in auto repair: glass damage, which accounts for 40% of vehicle insurance claims. Their app guides users through capturing images of windshield damage, providing an accurate assessment of whether the glass can be repaired or requires replacement. This innovative solution is used by 20 insurers across 12 markets, solidifying DriveX’s position as the leading remote inspection provider in the Baltic States.
