14 international startups making a difference as part of the first Startup Wise Guys Accelerator Program in Bilbao

Last week we launched our first-ever Bilbao Accelerator Program; welcoming 14 international SaaS startups to the five-month journey! The tailor-made program is built for early-stage B2B SaaS startups, with a  focus on Industry 4.0. Over the next five months, our amazing Startup Wise Guys team, along with some kick-ass mentors, will be working closely with the founders, coaching and guiding them through an intensive full-time mentoring program; jam-packed with the tools and knowledge necessary to help them scale their businesses internationally. As part of their acceptance to the program, the startups receive investment and become part of our vast network of founders and investors.

This batch marks one of the biggest and most diverse in Startup Wise Guy’s history; with founders flying in from Colombia, India, Argentina, Bolivia, Indonesia, Ukraine, Canada, France, Spain, UK, Austria, Germany, Turkey, and Estonia. These ambitious teams are addressing a diverse set of challenges by building innovative solutions.

Meet the teams:

Aboard (Canada) – Aboard is a platform for People Professionals to discover, customize and deliver People Programs to enhance employee experiences.

Adminix (Ukraine) – Adminix is a low-code software that automates business workflow processes; tripling the speed of automation and halving hosting costs, saving SMEs up to $12,000 annually thanks to their severless architecture.

Anyflexo OÜ (Estonia) – Anyflexo is leading the digital transformation of selling and sourcing flexo printing consumables through their global B2B e-marketplace.

Audemic (UK) – Audemic makes research more accessible for researchers, executives, and the intellectually curious, by curating, simplifying, and converting research papers into audio format.

Digicust (Austria) –  Digicust is scalably and sustainably digitizing the customs industry globally, aspiring to hyper-automation; tremendously improving the current supply chain in speed, efficiency, and safety.

ERG Controls (Turkey) – ERG Controls digitalizes hand hygiene monitoring; bringing life-saving WHO standards to the healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing industries with their AI-powered IoT system, “YIKA”.

Heavnn (Estonia) – Heavnn is a platform for remote-first companies to optimize their workforce’s global tax benefits; increasing talent compensation by 25% and avoiding the time and costs of balancing multiple tax systems.

iftrue inc  (US) – iftrue enables software teams to double productivity and decrease costs, by providing intelligent insights and enhancing their existing solutions; improving the developer experience, and speeding up the development processes.

NYMIZ SOFTWARE COMPANY (Spain) – Nymiz is a B2B SaaS Software tool powered by AI that anonymises PII in almost any kind of file format and database, and industry and language; allowing large companies and public administrations to prevent data breaches, comply with privacy laws and generate new revenue streams for companies.

phaseinvest GmbH (Germany) – phaseInvest increases profitability for equity portfolio managers, by replacing current inefficient spreadsheet-based workflows, with its portfolio management technology

Pinghome (Estonia) – Pinghome redefines monitoring and observability by building a platform that enables robust and speedy software; giving customers with the most complex tech infrastructures peace of mind.

Rapidworks OÜ (Estonia) – RapidWorks is a no-code process management platform that digitizes manufacturers’ complex workflows in a matter of days.

Smart Kiwi (UK) – Smart Kiwi enhances the fleet distribution of mobility companies; increasing ridership and optimizing costs.

SmartBill (UK) – SmartBill provides a money-saving platform for bank applications, including features such as subscription cancellation and bill switching; saving consumers over £1,000 per year, whilst generating revenue for the bank.

With a greater batch comes greater responsibility that was laid upon the shoulders of two incredible ladies – Fabienne Hakim, taking on her second batch as Managing Director, and Mónica Aguilar by her side as Program Manager. 

The program will run in partnership with Beaz Bizkaia, and be hosted at the BAT B Accelerator Tower, which brings together a large community of startups, companies, investors, and technology partners in Bilbao, Spain.
