13 SaaS & Cyber startups to watch – meet the newest Startup Wise Guys batch
We are excited to share that 14 international startups are beginning their 5-month journey with us making it the biggest batch we have ever had! This batch has two tracks – SaaS and Cyber – to accommodate the specific needs of startups from each vertical. The acceleration program runs from April until September 2021. Besides a cash investment, selected startups go through an intense mentorship-driven program managed from our Tallinn office space. However, due to Covid restrictions, the program will commence online and is planned to be held in a hybrid format with modules online and on-site, should the regulations be loosened.
The batch has 13 teams with founders from 12 different countries from all across the globe – Estonia, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, United Kingdom, USA, Argentina, Australia, and for the first time in our portfolio including founders from Ecuador, Brazil, Venezuela, and Serbia. These teams have solutions for automated employee onboarding, delivery app management, legal entity verification, team training against spear-phishing and so much more. Without further ado meet the teams of our newest batch:

Meet the batch managers
With a bigger batch comes a bigger team and we have #WiseGirl power gathered up for this one! We have two Managing Directors for each track of the batch – our long term mentor Mariia Tintul joined our team in February and will be taking care of the SaaS startups, and Egita Polanska, who has been with SWG since 2016 and has worked with different partnerships, lead pre-accelerator programs in Balkans, as well as been a Managing Director for two batches is coming back to this role and will help Cyber startups in their journey. Liis Linn, who has been the Program Manager of our first Wise Guys Sustainability batch, will be joining this batch as a Program Manager as well. This power team will be supported by Wise Guys Cyber Program Director Farid Singh who led our first two Wise Guys Cyber batches, as well as an intern who recently joined our team, Alexander Zahn.
Btw, the batch HQ is at our Tallinn office, and some of our own team members, as well as the startups, will be there throughout the program, so if you want to stop by and say hi, feel free to do that. We’d be happy to meet you for a chat!
