Livful is Revolutionizing Sustainable Housing with Innovative Construction Solutions
In a world where sustainability and affordability are critical, Livful emerges as a beacon of innovation in the construction industry. Their mission is to reduce on-site construction time by 90% using sustainable, pre-cut panelized house kits. Livful envisions a world where eco-friendly housing is accessible to everyone, making a significant impact on the environment and society.
Origins of Livful
Livful‘s journey began with Kadi Rinn Lomp, Magnus Lomp, and Henry Oro, whose diverse experiences in the construction industry shaped their mission. Kadi, with her multi-generational family ties in construction, grew up on building sites and later worked in digital marketing, always valuing minimalism and sustainability. Henry, who built his own tiny house, encountered challenges in sourcing materials and managing waste, bringing his expertise with an engineering degree in construction and logistics. Magnus contributed his experience from working at a modular house and loghouse factory, along with a career in banking. Together, they envisioned a better way to build, leading to the creation of Livful.
At Livful, our mission is to revolutionize the construction industry by reducing on-site construction time by 90% with our sustainable, pre-cut panelized house kits. We envision a world where everyone can afford eco-friendly housing. With the built environment responsible for about 42% of global CO2 emissions annually, we believe it’s time for a change. Livful is committed to making that change possible by providing efficient, eco-friendly building solutions.
Mission and Vision
Founded two years ago, Livful has since produced and sold 27 Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) kit houses in Japan and Estonia. Their mission is to revolutionize construction by reducing on-site build time and promoting sustainable, affordable housing. Livful’s kits, with components under 50kg, fit together seamlessly, making them perfect for any location.
Their patented invisible panel connection method is not material-specific. They foresee its future use with innovative materials like upcycled CLT and recycled plastic, addressing the climate crisis by utilizing leftover materials for sustainability.
Empowering Builders and Communities
Livful dreams of a world where anyone can build effortlessly and sustainably. Their kits can be assembled on-site by DIY enthusiasts or customized up to 50% for turn-key solutions by value-added partners. Livful aims to empower partners worldwide to produce and sell their kits, accelerating solutions for affordable homeownership and long-term rental units.
With kits that can be easily assembled on-site and only require supervision by one experienced builder or supervisor and basic support staff, they hope to also address the shortage of construction workers in potential markets. With a solution that helps to control costs, labor and construction times, Liveful is on a mission to make modern living accessible and affordable.
The Journey Ahead
Livful is dedicated to continuous innovation and expansion. Their vision is to see their sustainable housing solutions adopted globally, reducing carbon footprints and making modern, eco-friendly living within reach of everyone. Join Livful on this journey to build a greener, more sustainable future.
