Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: Inside Our Fintech Pre-Accelerator Program

Back to News

As we wrap up our inaugural Fintech Pre-revenue Program – powered by Startup Wise Guys and Fidelity Center for Applied Technology®(FCAT), we want to look back and share how the program went. This joint initiative was born out of the mutual interest we share for developing innovation in the Fintech space. And what better way to do so than supporting early-stage Fintech startups?

The purpose of the program was to find some of the most promising early-stage Fintech startups and support them with the right tools, knowledge and mentorship, to bring their product to the market as quickly as possible. Over an intensive 8-week period, these startups worked on developing their MVPs, learning the ropes of effective sales strategies, and understanding the essentials of fundraising.

“The programme helped us to narrow down our product focus and helped us fine-tune our go-to-market strategy. Program in 3 words: helpful, interesting and fun :)”

Program welcomed 25 startups from 15 different countries, creating a diverse and vibrant community. This diversity was not just in numbers but also in ideas, with each team bringing a unique perspective to the Fintech landscape. During the course of the program  only 8 outstanding startups were selected for the final pitch in Dublin.

“We had one of the most eager, engaged and passionate groups of founders that I have seen in a while, truly international too. It was a joy to be next to them, guide them across the program and mentor them together with the FCAT coaches. They have all the ingredients needed to grow into true entrepreneurs and create a self-sustainable business.”
