Restworld, portfolio company from our SaaS Milan 2022 batch, has raised €1 million in seed funding to revolutionize hiring in the hospitality and restaurant sector (Ho.Re.Ca).
The Turin-based startup bridges the gap between businesses and job seekers, emphasizing transparency, accessibility, and ethical recruitment practices.
The funding will support the creation of Restworld’s 2.0 platform, tailored to serve businesses of all sizes, from independent eateries to global chains. This milestone comes at a time of rapid change in the hospitality sector, underpinned by updates to Italy’s national labor agreement (CCNL).
Expanding to Global Horizons
With €1 million in revenue in 2024, partnerships with Lavazza, KFC, and Baladin, and a community of over 150,000 workers and 800 businesses, Restworld is already a key player in Italy’s Ho.Re.Ca industry. Having facilitated over 2,000 job placements, the company is expanding internationally to Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, and Spain, with a goal to reach €10 million in revenue by 2027 and become a global leader in hospitality recruitment.
