4 startups to watch from the latest Cyber Bilbao Batch

Back to News

It’s with great pleasure we announce the launch of the first Cyber Acceleration Program in Bilbao and introduce you to the latest cohort of four startups embarking on a transformative three-month journey with us.

This particular program is designed for startups at the growth stage and offers a unique approach, as it is shorter and tailored to meet the specific needs of each startup individually, rather than delivering a standardized curriculum to a whole cohort. We have carefully selected 4 startups to participate in the program, each of which will engage in four learning modules. The teams will work hands-on with dedicated coaches and a temporary advisory board to develop the elements of their business that require the most attention.

The teams are based in Estonia, the US, the UK, and Australia, with founders coming also from Turkey, Canada, and Ukraine – they are fostering groundbreaking solutions as they are navigating in the dynamic realm of cybersecurity, where threats are constantly evolving, and innovation is the only key to staying one step ahead.

Meet the teams:

ARGOS Cloud Security (Australia) – Cloud Security and Compliance assessments for consultants that customers will actually see value in, done in under 5 minutes.

Cyber Struggle (Estonia)  – Training and certifying the special forces of the cyber world.

LetsData (USA/Ukraine) – AI solution enabling organizations to anticipate and navigate communication risks and opportunities.

Sealit (United Kingdom)  – Simple data security to get compliant & stay productive.

“We already started to work with the startups and assess their status and needs deeper, and we really enjoy this first process. It’s a great way to get to know each other better and then dive into execution mode in order to grow their business beyond the current borders. That’s what the Cyber Bilbao program is all about. The startups already have a proven product, and then together we choose the markets to prospect and execute in, in order to boost the sales. Lots of thrilling work ahead!”

Razvan Suta, Program Managing Director

Meet the Managing Team

Leading the program is Razvan Suta, a seasoned professional and former founder himself, with a background in working with Fintech startups and in business development for the past years. Assisting him will be the Program Manager – Monica Aguilar, who brings her extensive expertise from successfully managing two previous Cyber batches. With their combined skills, this team is perfectly equipped to guide and support our founders throughout their journey.

While this marks our inaugural Cyber program in Bilbao, we have successfully ran
five Cyber programs, amongst which two Cyber Xcelerator Programs we ran in partnership with CDP Venture Capital, the venture arm of Italian investment bank CDP (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti) as part of a three-year investment initiative.
